Welcome to my website! I'm Verónica, a former physicist and now an enthusiastic geophysicist. During my PhD at the University of Washington, I have been working with dense seismic sensors, especially Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), to study a range of problems in Solid Earth geophysics. My work takes advantage of the dense spatial resolution provided by fiber-optic cables, and I like to combine computational tools with fieldwork.
